| Here is the 2 pm train headed west across Johnson Flat and named for Johnson Stream. This car started its life from Pulman in 1925 under order #4837. It ran on the DL&W as DLW2248 from 1930 to 1961 as a motor car. The current #3248 comes from the Erie & Lackawanna from 1960 to 1976 then under Conrail to 1983. From 1983 it ran on New Jersey Transit. It ran on the Maine Coast RR in the 1990s before it ended up on the BML. A tip of the hat to Joe at the BML for the back ground. /DL |
