Yard
Title:  Yard
Description:  C1915. The MEC spent all of 1.5 miles on the Vermont side of the river just below the Canadian boarder running thru Beecher Falls. Most of the rolling stock appears to be MEC. The box car on the end of the siding is MEC 8128 and the next box car is MEC 4242. The circus poster is incomplete but appears to be for the Walter L. Main Circus on the 29th of an unknown month and year.... /DL

MEC 454 across the diamond
Title:  MEC 454 across the diamond
Description:  No info with this old print. The date is a very ruff estimate... The scene looks a bit like Whitefield but not from a common angle. In earlier photographs of this locomotive the generator is mounted ahead of the stack, here it looks to be back near the cab. The gondola appears to be MEC 8200 but the origional photo is rather fuzzy and I dont think MEC had any gondolas in this number range... /DL
