Title:  MEC 370
Description:  C1925. MEC #370 was built in November of 1906 at the ALCO’s Rhode Island plant. AN MEC Class O BLT 11/06 and scrapped at the end of the MEC Steam era in October 1953 just a month before this authors 1st birthday. This photo was taken at Rigby Yard in South Portland. Rigby, also known as Yard 13, was built in 1922 and is located beside US Rt1 in the Thorton Heights area of South Portland.

Description:  MEC 651 at Rigby Yard. MEC had 8 of these 2-10-2s all from the Boston & Maine. 651 was origionally BM#3000 built by Alco in July of 1920. It arrived on the MEC in December of 1936 and was sold March 51. Cyl 29x32 with 61 inch drivers. Steam at 190 lbs. /DL
