Album Info:PAR keeps a switcher at Oldtown, OT1. Just before noon Dispatch gave OT1 permission to proceed east from Shaw Brook, the control point at the east end of Northern Maine Junction, to MP 46 which is the Old Town yard. 20 minutes later MEC#510 trundled thru what used to be MEC's Bangor yard, now a City Park. These photographs were made from the top of a berm in the middle of the park. The perspective would have been avaliable years ago from the top of a box car. /DL

Description:  This yard was not a hump yard. The mound the camera is on was added by the City of Bangor and is shaped in a simi circle for small shows etc. /DL
