Description:  Wast Aspect Signal at the west end of the Davis passing siding, the switch is just out of sight round the bend. 5 minutes earlier and there would have been a train in this scene. Flange screech was quickly fading when this photo was made. The back in the passenger era a passenger station stood track side at this point. /DL
